Untitled

The Body Study series focused on organic forms derived from different parts of the body, while the Untitled series took a different approach, concentrating more on symmetry and uprightness to refine these shapes. In this sense, I deliberately chose colors that would distance the Untitled series from the human body.

To represent the connections between different parts of the body, I used both opaque and transparent materials. I chose cement as the opaque material and glass as the transparent one, creating these forms through casting techniques. Glass has the unique physical property of melting in the kiln, which allowed me to shape it into precise forms. This process aligns with how I analyze and reinterpret the body, ultimately creating my own new forms.
