Anima-in anima

I explored the human body by dividing it into its "exterior" and "interior" aspects, and became deeply fascinated by how the rigid exterior encases a soft, pliable interior. I define the exterior as hard, geometric, and structured, while the interior feels organic, fluid, and unpredictable. These contrasting elements coexist in a delicate, symbiotic relationship. This duality is central to my Anima-in anima series, where I juxtapose materials that reflect these qualities: glass bottles and acrylic boxes embody the body’s structured exterior, while sponges, scouring pads, stockings, cotton, soundproof panels, bubble wrap, aqua stick, and corrugated tubes represent the yielding, visceral interior.
